Hydrating Powder Masks

• Place 50g of alginate powder in a rubber mixing bowl
• Add luke warm distilled water a bit at a time to form a paste. Whip briskly using a spatula for 30 seconds. The mixture should be thick enough to apply smoothly to the skin but not to runny that it runs off the face.
• Use the spatula to apply the mixture to the face. Eyes and mouth can be covered too if client is ok with this.
• Leave the masque on the clients face for 7 to 10 minutes. This process will form a single masque which is easy to remove. Simply peel the masque from the face in one piece and remove any remnants with a damp towel
